I have an older version of the press, and the new replacement filter doesn’t fit.

For the new filter system, the plastic wheel and the two metal sleeves used in the old style are not necessary and should be removed. The new filters simply thread directly onto the rod. Please note that the lids have undergone a design change, but this will not affect the filter attachment.
